Data and digital rights

The EU was the source of a large proportion of the digital rights enjoyed by UK citizens and residents, and many of those protections can now be traded, altered and abolished. Rules on intermediary liability, privacy law and encryption are all up for grabs, and we could be subject to far more online surveillance.
